I can’t recommend this locksmith highly enough! She did an amazing job replacing the lock on my aunt’s garage door. What could have been a stressful situation was handled with total professionalism and care from start to finish.
She arrived right on time, immediately assessed the issue, and clearly explained what had happened with the old lock. I really appreciated how she kept us fully informed throughout the entire process, no confusion, no surprises, just honest and transparent service.
She removed the faulty lock efficiently and replaced it with a brand-new one, making sure everything worked perfectly before she left. You can tell she truly takes pride in her work. Friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly reliable — excellent service all around.

Lock Monkey Debbie called at our home at the agreed time today*26/ 01/ 26, to assess the non locking Bi Fold door we have and was quickly able to diagnose the problem and was able to replace the Door lock mechanism and lock barrel there and then.
Debbie was also able to replace a front door handle whose internal springs were failing as well.

Debbie arrived within a couple of hours of my call, even though it wasn't an emergency and fixed the problem on the spot with a new lock for a broken one on a large DG window that I'd been told elsewhere would need the entire window replacing, so probably saved me about a grand....thanks Debbie! 🙂

Can’t rate Lock Monkey highly enough. As a lone female with two young children at home on a dark winters evening, being able to find a female locksmith was incredible.
Same day call out, the lock was assessed, diagnosed and fixed within an hour.

My call was answered promptly on a Sunday afternoon. On Monday Debbie turned up 5 mins earlier than promised, a good start she examined the lock and door, explained the problem?gave an itemised quote proceeded to fit new lock with new bits from her stocked van, worked efficiently and job completed in about half and hour. Outstanding service. Complex lock jammed shut in aluminium door. Debbie turned up as planned. Hugely knowledgeable and efficient, it was impressive to see how she solved the problem. A poorly installed front door saw my wife and I locked out of our “quality” new build house. We called The Lock Monkey and Debbie, arriving in her fully equipped van, took over. Drilling out the old cylinder she installed a new one in the security door. Throughout she radiated the competence that as a top professional she new what she was doing. How quickly can you get to me if I’m locked out?

We aim to be with you 30 minutes or less if you live in Exmouth or nearby and often much more quickly. We’ll give you an accurate time estimate when you call, and we will ALWAYS show up.

Can I get a quote over the phone?

For standard work like lock changes, we can often give you a price over the phone. For a more accurate price, we will sometimes ask you to send a photo first.

My uPVC door is hard to lock – do I need a new door?

In most cases, you won’t need a new door! Most uPVC door problems are lock mechanism issues, not the door itself. We can often repair or replace the broken parts. Additionally, your door might be out of alignment, in which case we can realign it.
